SMC is proud to announce that Institut de Recherches Servier (FRA) has published the results of their study using our STAM™ model liver samples in PLOS ONE.

Title

Procollagen C-Proteinase Enhancer-1 (PCPE-1) deficiency in mice reduces liver fibrosis but not NASH progression"

In this paper, the authors compared the extent to which C-Proteinase Enhancer-1 (PCPE-1) expression in the liver is involved in liver fibrosis and NASH progression in various mouse models of liver fibrosis. The authors have also used the PCPE-1 gene expression analysis in the liver of STAM™ mice.

We provide frozen samples of liver, plasma and the others from STAM™ mice for using in your various analyses.

As in this paper, you can also be used to compare with other liver fibrosis models to find a mouse model that fits your research objectives. Please consider our STAM™ mouse sample provision service.

In addition to STAM™ mice, we also have other liver fibrosis models available. Please feel free to contact us to discuss what kind of drug efficacy evaluation study you are considering and what kind of mouse model you would like.
