SSc model
The bleomycin (BLM) induced skin fibrosis model is used as a disease model for pharmacological studies and research into the mechanism of scleroderma. We use our original method of bleomycin administration to induce the disease uniformly. As shown in the figure below, it is administered in rotation at the four corners of a shaved square. Due to our unique induction method, variations in pathological conditions are suppressed.
