We would like to share with you about our Bile duct ligation (BDL) model, known as a disease model mice for cholestatic liver disease.
This model reproduces the pathological features of cholestatic liver disease, which leads to acute liver injury followed by liver inflammation and severe fibrosis.
It is a useful model for those looking to evaluate hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic properties of drug candidates in a short period.
