One of our clients published preclinical data on NASH-fibrosis on Biochemistry
We announced that a study in the STAM™ mouse model of NASH performed by SMC Laboratories Inc. has been published in Biochemistry by University of Nebraska.:
Title: “A Panel of Protein Kinase Chemosensors Distinguishes Different Types of Fatty Liver Disease”
This study reported that a significant increase in MK2 (MAPKAPK2) activity in NAFLD (6 wks), NASH (8 wks) and HCC stage (20 wks) was observed compared with age-matched normal mice.
The STAMTM mouse model can be used in the pharmacology studies of the kinase inhibitors.
Please let me know if you would like further information on this publication or our NASH-HCC model.
