Introduction of the paper using our UUO model
Today, we would like to introduce a paper published by our client using our Chronic Kidney Disease model.
In this paper, the authors reported an improved pathology, and analyzed the mechanism of the UUO-induced kidney fibrosis model by histological and gene expression analysis after the administration of their compounds.
About the UUO model
SMC’s UUO model shows reproducible pathological features of interstitial fibrosis, tubular atrophy and inflammatory cell infiltration.
The short duration of the study (2 weeks) makes it an ideal model for screening compounds for renal fibrosis. If you have a compound that has shown anti-fibrotic effects, why not consider testing it using the UUO model?
